| Jeweller | Your Personal Jeweller – Johan Vosloo |
Herma and Franco had been together for about two years when Herma met me, Johan, at a business networking event. This meeting turned out to be special, as it started a wonderful journey to create something extraordinary for their wedding day.
As their wedding day got closer, Herma asked me to make their wedding rings. They wanted matching rings that symbolised their unity and commitment. After carefully measuring their finger sizes and looking at different designs, Herma and Franco chose a modern yet timeless style that fit their love story. Herma liked a simple look, choosing bands without stones or detailed decorations.
Their choice of materials was both unique and meaningful. They picked a blend of white, rose, and yellow gold. The mix of these three types of gold had deep meaning for the couple. They saw the strands of gold as representing God’s presence in their lives. This divine thread had brought their hearts together and would keep strengthening their bond throughout their marriage. Having God at the centre of their relationship was essential for the couple.
The final rings were a true reflection of their love and faith. Herma described the ring as “breathing”, a beautiful piece that felt comfortable and special on her finger. She was thrilled with the final result and praised its unique design and outstanding craftsmanship.
Herma and Francois continue to grow closer, their love deepening as time goes on. Their wedding bands remind them of their vows and the divine connection that holds them together.
Creating these rings for Herma and Franco was an honour and a joy. Their story is a beautiful reminder of the power of love and faith, and I am grateful to have been part of their journey.
