Here is a quick tip about having your couple’s photographs taken on your special day.
- Trust in your photographer’s expertise; they are the best guide for your special day!
I always tell my couples that the sun plays such an important role in the outcome of their photographs.
Why?
The sun causes hard shadows on faces and harsh light, and shadows are tricky to edit out of your face.
If you are lucky, your day is cloudy. (Photographers LOVE cloudy days; they make it easier for us.) Remember, shooting so much on a cloudy wedding day is not bad.
I always suggest to my couples that they take their couple photographs during sunset, but Jenny and Hein were so lucky. It was cloudy when we started with their couple photos, and it was the most perfect thing ever. The sun did peek through, but luckily, it was not harsh lighting.
Remember, your photographer’s advice is invaluable. So, when they suggest something, it’s best to listen.
