On your wedding day, your hairstylist should provide a calm, efficient, and creative experience, transforming your hair into a beautiful, durable style. You can expect them to collaborate with you to perfect your vision during a trial run, offer specific hair prep instructions, arrive on time with all necessary products and tools, and execute your chosen style with precision. They will ensure your accessories and veil are securely placed and be available for any necessary touch-ups, all while working within a pre-agreed timeline.

Before the Wedding:

  1. Quotation: When receiving the quote make sure that it’s within your budget, when they expect a deposit, and latest payments. Also ask regarding quotations for hair extensions if necessary.
  2. Hair Trial: You’ll have a trial run to try out potential styles, bring accessories, and share your vision for the big day. Be open and honest regarding what you want, don’t be scared when you don’t like something, every stylist would rather want to hear your thoughts and make sure you’re happy with the end result.
  3. Personalized Prep Instructions: Your stylist will give you specific instructions for how to prep your hair before the wedding, such as whether to wash it the night before or day off. Please stock to the prep as it’s important for your style to last the best.
  4. Accessory Confirmation: Bring your veil and any other hair accessories to the trial so the stylist can plan how to incorporate them into the final style. Wear a white / off white top to see the color matches with your makeup and skin tone, and suits the hairstyle as well.
  5. Time-Line: A Time line should be provided to make sure everyone has enough time for the hair and makeup and to not overlap or run late. The time line should suit yourself and all other vendors. Enough time should be allocated to not be rushed.

On the Wedding Day:

  1. Timely Arrival & Preparation:
Your hairstylist will arrive early, bringing all necessary products and tools, and set up in a designated space. The stylist needs to make sure to stay on track of the schedule.
  2. Calm and Focused Atmosphere:
They will create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere while working to keep the wedding morning stress-free.
  3. Execution of the Style:
The stylist will skillfully execute the agreed-upon hairstyle, ensuring it is well-structured, balanced, and designed to last through the day.
  4. Accessory and Veil Integration:
They will perfectly place and secure your veil and any other decorative hair accessories.
  5. Last-Minute Touch-Ups:
Your stylist will be there to provide touch-ups to your hair, ensuring it looks flawless for photos and throughout the ceremony and reception.

After the Service

  1. Emergency Kit:
You should have your own emergency kit with essentials like bobby pins, hair ties, a brush, dry shampoo, and travel-size hairspray for peace of mind and unexpected fixes. This could be an extra cost
