Creating this classic look felt like being in nature—effortless, peaceful, and deeply fulfilling.
Doing an old friend’s hair and make-up in this stunning bush setting calmed me. Abigail is one of the most gentle, soft-hearted, and loving people. On her wedding day, she simply wanted to reflect outwardly the warmth she carries inside. It was an honour to help her shine in such a natural and serene space. With the heat of the bush in mind, we aimed to keep her short hair up—styled softly and simply, yet made to last. We created a beautiful, effortless low bun upstyle designed to hold through the day and night without ever feeling overdone. Her make-up was kept clean and minimal, allowing her to feel like herself while still embodying the essence of a bride. To elevate the simplicity of her bridal look, we added delicate hair accessories that complemented her more dramatic earrings, bringing just the right touch of elegance and balance. Her look truly showcased that less is more.
