Every love story begins with a spark — and so did ours. Tie the Knot Games was born from a simple observation: weddings are overflowing with romance, joy, and celebration, but when it comes to entertainment, most options don’t truly reflect the meaning of the day. After seeing countless couples search for something unique to keep their guests entertained, we wanted to create an experience that wasn’t just fun, but deeply personal.
Our story began just eight months before our own wedding, when we were trying to think of an activity our guests could enjoy during canapés while we were off taking photos. Driven by a spark of inspiration, we spent the next few months designing and building a wedding-themed putt-putt course in secret — ready to unveil it on our big day.
When we finally launched it at our wedding, it was an instant hit! Our guests loved it so much that we knew we had to share it with more people. That’s how our mission to entertain began. Now, we’ve assembled our very own dream team:
- Carla takes care of all inquiries and administrative tasks, ensuring every event runs smoothly.
- Hanro handles our marketing efforts, spreading the word about our unique service.
- Pieter, Carla’s father, is responsible for designing and manufacturing our beautiful obstacles and courses.
Together, we pour our passion into every detail of Tie the Knot Games. What started as a creative project for our own special day has grown into a family business dedicated to making weddings more joyful, memorable, and unique.
