It feels like it has been years since I witnessed a genuine old school church wedding with live organ music & singing psalms! This lovely little wedding took place at the historical Paul Kruger Church in Pretoria Central,close to Church Square.
The morning started out with thunderstorms and heavy rain, but no fear since my unconventional bride didn’t want the usual wedding day.
No getting ready portraits, no bridal party photos, no pre-wedding anything. I find myself laughing about this,almost like an inside joke between myself and my clients. I have somehow become a magnet for the unconventional bride. We did a quick portrait session inside the church, quick family photos and then off to the unconventional reception which was at Moonshot Cafe where we took one of her only photo requests. An elevator kissing photo,absolute cinema! I genuinely love helping my unconventional brides find what they need on their wedding day. Just because you are getting married does not mean you need to all of a sudden conform and change your vibe or personality! If you don’t want certain types of photos that should be your decision to make.
So, ladies.. If you need an unconventional photographer for your not so conventional vibe. I am your girl!
