I recently had the incredible opportunity to travel to Victoria Falls for Kirsten’s wedding — what an unforgettable experience! Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, it was the perfect backdrop for a truly special celebration of love.
For her bridal look, Kirsten chose a soft, elegant updo — a practical and timeless choice for the warm Vic Falls weather. Her makeup was kept beautifully natural, enhancing her gorgeous features while ensuring she looked radiant all day (and night!) long. Airbrush makeup worked wonders in the heat, keeping her complexion fresh and flawless.
Kirsten’s bridesmaids opted for slightly more relaxed, textured updos. Knowing that the ceremony was taking place outdoors — and that the wind had already started to pick up — I created neater versions of their chosen styles to start the day. This way, once the celebrations were in full swing, the hairstyles softened naturally into that effortless, romantic look we all love.
It was such a joy to be part of this destination wedding and to work with such a warm, beautiful bridal party. Victoria Falls truly offered a magical setting, and seeing everyone’s hair and makeup hold up so beautifully through the heat, laughter, and happy tears was incredibly rewarding.
Being able to travel for weddings like this reminds me just how lucky I am to do what I love — helping brides feel confident, radiant, and completely themselves on one of the most important days of their lives.
