Draped Luxury: A Modern Bridal Vision
Creating a wedding day look that feels both effortlessly chic and timeless is all about the details. In a recent styled shoot, we captured a modern bridal aesthetic that beautifully reflects this philosophy, with a dress designed to be the star of the day.
The Dress: A Piece Close to My Heart
At the heart of this shoot is a halter neck wedding dress that I designed with the modern bride in mind. This gown features an intricately hand-draped bodice and skirt, with a low open back and a delicate tie detail at the waist. Crafted from luxurious silky satin, the dress drapes naturally, creating an elegant yet sensual silhouette. It’s the kind of gown that makes a statement while allowing your natural beauty to shine.
Bringing the Look Together
To complement the dress’s understated luxury, we chose an archival veil from Veil Atelier and stunning earrings from Olive Coral. The veil adds a touch of ethereal romance, while the earrings provide just the right amount of sparkle. Paired with flawless hair and makeup by Kiss the Bride, the overall look is one of subtle sophistication.
The shoot took place at the enchanting Stonehaven Castle Estate, a venue that added a magical backdrop to the entire scene. Although I wasn’t able to be there in person, the love and connection between our real-life couple, Chrisli and Blake Chubb, shines through in every image captured by the talented Skye Kyra Photography.
