Any designer’s dream would firstly be having two beautiful daughters who love clothes and dressing up, and secondly, to make all their special occasion dresses. I was granted both!
Last December, I had the privilege to design and make the youngest’s wedding dress. It was such a special journey.
Drawing and redrawing pictures. Going material shopping and then slowly the dream dress becomes a reality. Nicola wanted a real classical fairytale dress with embroidered lace, beads, layers of tulle, a beautiful neckline, a small waist and an extravagant train. Finally, on the wedding day I could pride myself in having made the wedding dress, five bridesmaids’ dresses, three flower girl dresses and my own.
