It all starts with picking out the perfect ring and planning the most beautiful moment to ask “THE QUESTION”.
What follows is that magical “YES”. The very honest and intimate moment between two people in love.
Before a date is set, invitations are designed and sent out, venue is booked, flowers are chosen, the cake is tasted and of course the dress is designed and every exciting detail that goes into a wedding – there is this very special moment. Where two people are in their own little bubble.
No family members, wedding planners, bridesmaids or groomsmen.
It is so special that modern couples are immortalizing this intimate moment with a photoshoot. Making the romantic moment a visual memory that will last a lifetime.
Such a lovely opportunity to wear something special and custom made. Allowing you to do something a little different and why not go a little over the top – you only get married once after all!!
I had the opportunity to create custom looks for both my daughters for their engagement shoots.
Kamilla – selecting a champagne-coloured sparkling mermaid inspired look for her ocean side shoot. Perfectly matching her personality – whimsical, a little bit edgy but still so classic.
Nicola picked a very special two piece consisting of a tailored top embellished with beads and a matching satin bermuda style short. Comfort is key – Nicola has always been one to place comfort at the top of her style sheet. This beautiful blush coloured set complimented her skin tone beautifully – really bringing out the colour of those beautiful eyes. Nicola had every bit the fairytale shoot in the woods.
