Compiling a wedding day timeline is the secret to any wedding day. This truly relieves stress for both the bride and groom. By getting the timing right on your special day, everything should be smooth sailing from there and fall perfectly in place. By planing a schedule ahead of time makes things seem a little bit easier, and this will decrease the chance of anything going wrong. Every bride and groom want to make sure to take in as much of every moment as possible on such a big day in your lives.
Try to follow our handy, hour-by-hour schedule that we have compiled for you. This is a rough guide to your special day; obviously, your wedding day will be very different from any other wedding day, so be sure to alter the guide to your specifications.
Make sure that your make-up and hair artist is punctual with their timings; these are very crucial to stay on schedule and make sure that the bride is ready to walk down the aisle on time. Be sure to allow your hair and make-up artists to start with the bridesmaids first. This ensures that the bride is freshly made up to fit into her dress immediately and walk down the aisle soon after she is ready. Allow approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour per bridesmaid and bride, this is also all dependent on the type of hair and make-up being done.
While the bride and groom are in their separate rooms getting ready with their bridal parties, the vendors should be setting up the ceremony and reception.
The photographer should arrive while hair and make-up on the bride and the bridesmaid is being done, as this is the perfect opportunity for the photographer to capture special moments in between, typically the photographer will start off by taking photos of the men, this can be of them putting on their ties and drinking beers.
